The Final Say
Its really really hard to beat this shoe. The vento Overcurve X3 is a high performance shoe with a mid tier price tag. We got a lot of shoes in the shop. They range from $200.00 up to $600. A Lot of these shoes come with all the bells and whistles. I get the pick of the litter on what I want to keep. After riding in the shoe for a bit it was not a hard choice for me to make that this shoe was going to be a keeper. The fit of the shoe was great and it felt very natural to me. The construction of the shoe is first rate and even though they did not use top of the line carbon for the sole or a pure rubber for the grip it's good enough to be stiff and grippy. And to be totally honest I'm more concerned with the type, shape and depth of the tread than if it's real rubber. The carbon injected sole was stiff and allowed good power transfer when I was racing in it. This shoe is an eye catcher. I had the white with the black stripe and people kept commenting on how cool and classic the shoe was. Bottom line you don't have to spend $600 to get a top performer.

construction featuring a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The closure is simple and secure, powered by a micro-adjustable Boa® IP1 dial.
