We have used this type of compression sock before and know what they do so we will not go into all of their benefits. The Skins MX calf compression tights are really great. they are light weight and are pretty tough. A lot of the compression socks that we have tried are good at first but over time they become looser and looser and don't offer the same compression that they first did out of the box. Now with that being said all of them will lose this elasticity. So the big question is with the price that you are paying for them how long will they last? Here are the things we like about them

When you go out and run around in the pain cave for an hour or so the next step is recovery. Recovery is where all of the magic happens. You don't get faster or stronger when your out riding or when your lifting in the gym. You get stronger and faster when you recover. So after you spend all that money on the power meter and the coach what are you doing to make sure that you will be getting the biggest returns on your investment? The Skins Calf compression tights are a cheap and great way to go. You hand to try very had to find scientific papers that compression wear helps in recovery. And at 49.99 this is a one time expensive that you will use all of the time. Let look at it this way. If you were to get a massage # X a week for 1 hr @ $50. That would be a lot of money and time. Slip them on and forget about them. Wear them on the plane to prevent DVT's when you are flying. Wear them to bed or just wear them at work. The will save your legs if you stand on them all the time at work. It would be very easy for me to go on and on about when you could wear them and the benefits. So if I was you I would have these in my recovery bag..
