We first discovered Crono shoes at Interbike and immediately liked what we saw. The Crono’s booth was in the Italian Pavilion and they had a prime corner lot at that show. Their road shoes were really hot and their MTB line was attractive as well. Once we found out who the distributor was we immediately set out to do a review and see if we could go over and visit the factory in Italy. We got a yes to both of those questions. Its the last of October and the cyclocross season is in full swing. So we are packing our bags and heading across the pond to Italy! We want to see the factories and meet the people behind some really great brands. As you can see from the picture who we are going to visit. So we are going to be going from Venice to Milan in this journey. This morning we got up to get on a conference call from the interbike communications department and VP of interbike, Pat Hus. After attending interbike for 13+ years I have always heard talk that it should move to a different location. Apparently Las vegas can get old after so many visits. Well it looks like that will come into play.

While at this years Sea Otter we ran across a company, Alto Cycling. Alto Cycling makes some prey high tech hoops and so we took some time to hang out with them and pretty soon it was obvious that this was no ordinary wheel company. The first clue was when Bill Shook came over and hung out chatting with them for about 40 min asking questions and giving compliments on their hubs. Last week it was announced to us that the US distributor of Morgan Blue (Belgium Bike) would no longer be selling them in the US.
