Scott and Adrian Montgomery accepting the 2010 Cross Bike of the Year award for their Scott USA CX Team bikeOn their one-year anniversary, CROSS BIKE REVIEW.com announced today that they will recognize industry leaders in the sport of Cyclocross at the 2010 Interbike Expo in Las Vegas, NV.
Awards will be presented for “Cross Bike of the Year,” “Cross Gear of the Year,” and “Cross Shoe of the Year.” The presentation will be held on September 22nd at each recipient’s booth starting at 8:00 a.m.

are handmade by a local Portland
artist and depict a Cyclocross racer
running while shouldering the bike.
The figures were individually hand cut from 12-gauge steel with a plasma torch, then mounted on a solid oak base. Each award is approximately 20 inches tall and is clearly one of a kind.

these awards to encourage
companies to put some time and
thought into designing their

Our hope is that companies will strive to create the best cross bikes and gear possible, instead of an afterthought or token bike to complete their line up.”
