The cool retro graphics. The fabric is super soft, but it's thin, so it doesn't add bulk. The full zipper, reflective pockets, UV protection, cell pocket and anti-bacterial fabrics means no smell. Silicon grippers on the bottom of the jersey keep it in place while riding

The Final Say

We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to review some of cyclocross. Nalini is an Italian clothing company that is imported into the US by Albabici. They have been making cycling clothing for 38 years. Of course if it's Italian, it has to have style and Nalini is not one to disappoint. The Albatro is a lightweight long sleeve jersey that is packed full of function and features. But don’t let the light weight material of this jersey fool you. It has plenty of temperature range for such a lightweight garment and can be easily paired with a base layer to extend it's use from spring through fall. The Albatro is made from Nalini's 100% polyester "3Mantofunction" fabric that has a small waffle weave. This fabric has anti-bacterial properties that cover over 200 types of bacteria and prevents odors. The 3Mantofunction fabric is also highly wicking and thus leaves you feeling dry. The third property of this fabric is that it has UV protection. In summer and high altitude conditions, this will protect you from the harmful rays of the sun. As I said earlier, this garment is packed with features. There is a silicon gripper at the bottom of the jersey to keep it from riding up on your back. It also has reflective piping along the three back pockets. Besides being a full zip jersey, it also has a pocket in back specifically for your cell phone. This pocket has a velcro closure on it so your phone does not fall out while careening through the single track on your favorite cross bike. Put the Albatro with a short sleeve base layer and you will be fine in cool temps or even a long sleeve base layer to extend your fall riding. We love the style and feel of the jersey.
