Louis Garneau Bib Knickers
Review: Louis Garneau Bib Knickers

We Liked
The LG bib knickers are surprisingly warm for being so lightweight. At first I was skeptical that they would stay put without the usual tight grippers below the knee. Instead LG uses a wide 2 ½ inch double layer cuff that keeps them in place while pedaling or running barriers. A plus to this design is these are the most comfortable knickers I have worn and have been my first choice when racing this CX season. The HeatMaxx fabric keeps you warm with the brushed finish on the interior that transports moisture away from your skin very well. The double layer of the Light Winddry 2 ply over the knees adds a wind and waterproof layer without restricting movement that definitely kept my knees from aching after a cold ride. The patented Air Zone chamois pad has wings that when remounting the bike offer just a little bit more comfort while reducing chaffing. These knickers worked well for me in temperatures ranging from 30-60 degrees F.
We Didn't Like
Nothing at all.
The Final Say
Louis Garneau Bib Knickers made from HeatMaxx fabric offer warmth, comfort with restriction free movement and added wind protection over the knees from Light Winddry 2 ply fabric.
